Massereene Sunday 12th June was the fourth Society outing of 2016. 26 members turned out. This included 3 new members joining. The weather started off a bit wet but from the 6th hole of the round the weather improved and no more rain was seen. This was our first time playing Massereene. The course was in superb order. Certainly a course to play again in the future. A good selection of meal choices was had by those staying for food. Scoring was again high with 13 players scoring 30 or more and 9 players 35 or more! It was good to see some old members back on the fairways again after a few outings absence.
The clear winner seen here with the President Billy Kelly was Captain Donal Campbell(14) with a score of 43pts which included 5 birdies!!. 2nd was Eamon Hamill(21) with 39pts and 3rd Tommy McCauley with 38pts(BBN).
Nearest the pin prizes were won by John Lewis (3rd), Kevin Lavery (8th), Rod Geddes (11th), and John Forker (14th).
The Dan Quayle 2nd round draw has been made and is published in the Draws and Results Section.
