Rockmount Sunday 25th March was the first Society outing of 2018. 27 members turned out. We were very lucky to have been rewarded with 18 holes in near perfect playing conditions with little wind and no rain!. The course was in good order given the amount of rain/snow we have had over the previous months. The meal afterwards was first class as we always find at Rockmount.
The winner of the Brendan Sloan Memorial Trophy was Rod Geddes with a score of 40pts ( 5 over gross!!). Runner wp was Matthew McCauley with 38pts with Donal Campbell 3rd with 36pts.
Nearest the pin prizes were won by Eamonn Early (3rd), Eamonn Early (9th), Louis Lau (12th) and Stevie Adams (16th).
The draw for the preliminary and first round of the Dan Quayle also took place.
