Shandon Sunday 28th June was the fifth Society outing of 2019. 22 brave players teed up.. The weather unfortunately proved actrocious and 10 players pulled out very late on. The course was in excellent condition given the conditions and feedback from the players was that we should return again next year. The meal and service afterwards was first class. Scoring given the conditions was excellent. Some Dan Quayle matches were completed but all remaining matches are to be played by the 11th August.

Nearest the pin prizes were won by Sean Davis (8th), Conor Fitzpatrick (10th), Kevin Lavery (13th) and Michael Coyle (15th)

The winners of the outing, seen below with Captain Damian McCloskey (left) and President Billy Kelly (right) were Barney Clarke (3rd - 35pts), Tom Fitzpatrick (1st - 38pts) and Brendan Mason (2nd - 36pts).
